Model No. ADDS-C Automatic Door Bottom Seal Description A middle-heavy duty, fully morticed automatic door bottom seal that is commonly called draught excluders, are automatic devices that drop a seal down to the floor as the door closes. They are activated by a button pressed against the door jamb to perfectly seal the gap between the door and floor. Keeping draughts of air, smoke, dust and noise out of an environment contributes to greater comfort; guaranteeing savings in terms of the amount of energy required to heat or cool the same. Location Fully morticed into the bottom of single and double butt hinged doors (minimum door thickness of 45mm). For double doors, plain meeting stiles are required. Installation Concealed screw fix with the cover plates on both ends. Before installation, 28x20mm groove need to be worked out in the bottom of door. Place the seal inside of the groove and fix the cover plates on both ends by screws.
